We are dedicated to supporting volunteers by helping you find volunteering opportunities in your local community. The aim is that every resident will be able to give time – be it for one hour every now and then to several hours a week. Whatever time you can give, it will make a difference to your life and your local area.

Befriending and Mentor

Helping Hands Volunteer | Jigsaw4u
Jigsaw4u is looking for volunteers to befriend individuals and families from the local area, who have experienced domestic abuse. Building a trusting relationship, you will support them to make links within the wider community, to access local services and to attend a variety of appointments.

COVID-19 Volunteer
COVID-19 Community Resource Hub Volunteer 
MVSC is working with the voluntary sector to mobilise a volunteer taskforce to help isolated households and those at risk from COVID-19. Volunteers will be partnered with key groups who will allocate you to tasks to support people who are currently unable to leave their home.

Supermarkets Food Collection Point | Dons Local Action Group
Dons Local Action Group distribute 2500 food packs per week and numerous bulk deliveries. They are seeking volunteers that can offer anything from one shift per week to multiple shifts. The role is to engage with shoppers on their way in to local supermarkets and take donations on your stand on the way out.

Friends in St Helier (F.I.S.H.) is a charity whose aim is to increase the well-being and reduce the social isolation of the disadvantaged elderly people living in the London Borough of Merton. The volunteer will be a member of a team, making weekly telephone calls to members and referrals from the COVID-19 Merton Community Responce Hub.
