Merton Volunteer Manager of the Year - nominate here
This award is to recognise a Volunteer Manager or equivalent, who has made an outstanding contribution to levels and/or standards of volunteering in Merton in 2018. We are looking to recognise a Volunteer Manager who demonstrates a commitment to best practice in supporting volunteers, including planning for volunteer involvement, recruitment, induction, support and safety, training and personal development, rewarding and recognising volunteers. The nomination for this award can only be made by volunteers.
Volunteer-involving Organisation of the Year - nominate here
This award is to recognise any organisation/group that has involved volunteers during 2018 and can demonstrate excellent practice in doing so. We are looking to celebrate how volunteers are recruited from diverse backgrounds, are thoughtfully involved to meet their motivations for giving their time, are offered support to fulfil their role and receive acknowledgement for their contribution to the organisation. The volunteer-involving organisation/group can self-nominate or be nominated by someone outside the organisation.
Young Volunteer Team of the Year - nominate here
In recognition of a team of 3 or more people under 21, who have taken action to make a difference to the lives of others in their community in 2018. Celebrating the exciting and unique ways in which young people giving their time has made a positive impact in Merton. The team may volunteer independently or be part of an organisation/group.

This award goes to a team of 3 or more people who have taken action to make a difference to the lives of others in their community in 2018. We are looking to celebrate the exciting and unique ways in which people giving their time have made a positive impact in Merton. The team may volunteer independently or be part of an organisation/group. Teams can self-nominate or be nominated by an organisation, group or individual.
Sports Club Volunteer of the Year - nominate here
This award is to recognise any person 21 or over, who has excelled at their volunteering commitment at a sports Club in 2018. We are looking to celebrate someone who has given their time to benefit sport in their local community and who deserves special recognition. They may volunteer as part of an organisation/group or independently. Must be nominated by a volunteer-involving organisation or individual. Maximum 3 nominations per organisation/group/department.
Cllr Maxi Martin Memorial Cup - Young Volunteer of the Year - nominate here
This award is to recognise any young person under the age of 21 years, who has excelled at their volunteering commitment in 2018. We are looking to celebrate a young person who has given their time to benefit their local community and gone that extra mile. They may volunteer as part of an organisation/group or independently. The young volunteer must be nominated by a volunteer-involving organisation, parent, guardian or teacher. Maximum 3 nominations per organisation/group/department.
The Chris Frost Memorial Shield - Volunteer of the Year - nominate here
This award is to recognise any person 21 or over, who has excelled at their volunteering commitment in 2018. We are looking to celebrate an adult who has given their time to benefit their local community and deserves special recognition. They may volunteer as part of an organisation/group or independently. Must be nominated by a volunteer-involving organisation or individual. Maximum 3 nominations per organisation/group/department.
Merton Health Services Volunteer of the Year - nominate here
This award is to recognise any person, who has excelled at their volunteering commitment during 2018. We are looking to celebrate someone who has given their time to benefit the Health and Wellbeing of residents in their local community and who deserves special recognition. They may volunteer as part of an organisation/group or independently. Must be nominated by a volunteer-involving organisation or individual. Maximum 3 nominations per organisation/group/department.
Merton Schools Volunteer of the Year - nominate here
This award is to recognise any person, who has excelled at their volunteering commitment during 2018. We are looking to celebrate someone who has given their time to benefit a Merton School, its staff and pupils, and who deserves special recognition. They may volunteer as part of an organisation/group or independently. Must be nominated by a volunteer-involving organisation or individual. Maximum 3 nominations per organisation/group/department.
Employee Volunteering of the Year - nominate here
This award is to recognise a business or organisation that has donated employee time to benefit Merton in 2018. We are looking to celebrate the contribution that employee volunteering makes to our local community. It can be an individual employee volunteer, the overall contribution of employee volunteers or a team employee volunteering activity. The business can self-nominate or be nominated by someone outside the organisation.

These awards are to recognise the outstanding contribution made by individuals to their community, either through long service (10 years or more) or through a particularly high level of commitment and dedication. Nominations are invited from volunteer-involving organisations, groups or individuals.
