Support for Volunteers

Our role is to ensure that you can give your time to your community and feel supported in your journey of volunteering. Our team can help you in a number of ways:

    Volunteer Opportunities

We are dedicated to supporting volunteers by helping you find volunteering opportunities in your local community. The aim is that every resident will be able to give time – be it for one hour every now and then to several hours a week. Whatever time you can give, it will make a difference to your life and your local area. Search through volunteering opportunities here.

    Resource for Volunteers
Please read the latest resource for volunteers, offering advice on a number of topics including safeguarding and DBS factsheets. Please note that this document is subject to change due to changes in Government guidance.

    New Volunteers
We offer advice and guidance to anyone that is new to volunteering.

    Volunteer Recognition
We actively celebrate the hard work of volunteers through case studies, social media and the annual Merton Partnership Volunteer Awards.

    Young Volunteers
We offer support to young volunteers (16-25) to give their time in their community. We can work with you to find an opportunity that suits your interests, a place to learn and develop new skills and somewhere you can gain experience for future employment.

    Employee Volunteering
Through Merton Giving, we are able to offer support, advice and guidance on employee volunteering.

To find out more about any of the above, please call us on 020 8685 1771 or email volunteer@mvsc.co.uk
