Wimbledon Guild’s vision is for every adult in Merton to get the most out of life, maximize their independence and experience mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.
Through our wellbeing service we meet with people, often in their own homes, to understand their needs and aspirations and create individual plans of support with them. The postholder will engage with people who are experiencing wellbeing or mental health issues who may require information, signposting or short-term support and assist them towards their own recovery goals. You will work collaboratively with individuals and professionals to navigate and coordinate services (both social and clinical interventions), helping people connect into community resources to reduce social isolation and improve wellbeing. You will also encourage people to use their strengths and assets to build resilience. As the Wellbeing Coordinator you will work within holistic approach to support people to live fulfilling lives and ensuring that services are tailored to an individual’s cultural and social needs.
The closing date is 9.00am on 3rd June 2019.
