Trainee Caseworker (Community Care and Personal Independence Payment)

Merton CIL is a Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisation (DDPO) which promotes the independence and inclusion of Deaf and Disabled people, challenges discrimination and works to achieve change locally.

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Deaf or Disabled person as a Trainee Caseworker (Community Care and Personal Independence Payment) in our busy Advice & Advocacy Team.

Previous experience of advice or advocacy is not essential. What is essential is that you are passionate about the rights of Deaf and Disabled people and are willing to learn and develop your skills, knowledge and practice.

About The Role

  • 28 hours per week fixed-term contract until 31 March 2022
  • Starting salary of £19,565.00 per annum pro rata, with the potential for increase to £24,000 per annum pro rata
  • Deadline: 11pm Tuesday 30 June 2020
