Social Prescribing recognised by the National Association of Link Workers

We are delighted to announce that Social Prescribing in Merton has been shortlisted for the Social Prescribing Programme of the year award - organised by the National Association of Link Workers.

This category recognises a social prescribing programme that has been running for at least 1 year or more and has made outstanding positive social prescribing impact powering up community wellbeing and demonstrates an all-round excellence in social prescribing practice.  

Ben Halschka, Head of Social Prescribing, is thrilled his team has been recognised, “Our team of 9 Social Prescribers, and all our partners involved in this fantastic initiative, truly deserve to be recognised for such a prestigious award. We work very hard to ensure that individuals in Merton, get access to support within the community. We look forward to the celebrations in October - winners or not, to be shortlisted is something to celebrate."
