The Kingston Burrowes Community Fund
To celebrate Kingston Burrowes turning 10 in 2018 we decided to thank the local community that helped us grow by launching a new community fund.
We are pleased to confirm that the Community Fund is open again for 2019 applications. We invite local community groups to apply for a share of the £1000 fund. 4 grants of £250 each will be awarded.
Projects should be focused on work supporting activities with clear benefit to the community, working with young people/children, schools, special educational needs, those with disabilities or the elderly. Projects that benefit the local environment such as enhancing the appearance or accessibility of community areas, including events or artistic installations are also considered.
Applications are invited from registered charities, not for profit organisations (including small clubs and societies) or individuals engaged in a specific funding appeal that meets the above criteria.
The grants are aimed at specific projects where an amount of up to £250 will either fund the entire cost of, or make a significant contribution to the total required (e.g. an individual piece of equipment or event/activity cost), not general running costs or continuation of existing and ongoing work.
Projects must be located in, and for the benefit of the community in the Boroughs of Merton, Kingston upon Thames or Reigate area (where we have offices).
Applications will open on 1st August 2019 and close at midday on Monday 30th September 2019. Successful grants will be notified within 4 weeks of the closure date.
Please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about the application process.
