MVSC recently met with CREW Energy who have been doing some incredible work in Merton; the community energy group is made up of committed volunteers living in south-west London who care about making this corner of the capital a more resilient and sustainable community.
Want to know more? CREW Energy holds free ‘energy café’ advice sessions to reduce energy usage and costs to help make London greener.
They are currently running walk-in energy cafés in the Merton to provide energy-saving advice for the climate- and cost-conscious. No fees, no obligation, just people helping people.
All you need is your latest energy bill. Their trained energy advisors then fight through the online jargon to provide personalised, impartial advice and face-to-face support on switching energy tariffs, energy-saving measures and small behaviour changes – all over tea and cake.
Their upcoming energy cafés will be held at Commonside Community Development Trust in Mitcham on Fridays 21st and 28th February and Friday 6th March, 9am-12pm.
To book your free places, and for further information on upcoming locations, head to crewenergy.london/energy-cafes or find CREW Energy on social media @CREWEnergyLDN.
