On Monday 25 November the Wimbledon Park Bowls Club secretary Barry Willingham, was recognised at the Mayor of London's Team London Volunteer Awards for his wonderful and committed contribution to his community. Barry led the Wimbledon Park BC 2013 recruitment campaign which resulted in a 67% increase in club membership with 16 new bowlers joining the club following the Saturday taster/coaching sessions. Trustees' Week 2013, the fourth annual celebration of trusteeship, took place from 4-10 November and was a resounding success. The Charity Commission is marking the fourth annual National Trustees' Week (4-10 November 2013) by urging charities to offer training and support to their trustees.
