Last week, 12 young people from NCS The Challenge came to visit the MVSC Youth Action Connect Befriending Project and made a really positive impact!
They originally visited us two weeks ago to learn more about the project and how they can help. They then raised funds in their own time, planning a special fundraising event AND planning on how they can volunteer their time too.

On Sunday 30th July, Team Merton Volunteers and Merton Police Cadets were in action as ‘Veloteers’ in Wimbledon Town and Village for the fifth Prudential Ride London. They helped pedestrians to cross safely and make the event run smoothly. Hopefully, you saw us there with our orange t-shirts!

The Good Grief Trust contacted MVSC last week as they are desperately seeking volunteers to help make up comfort gift packs for survivors affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.

On Sunday 30th July the fifth Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 starts in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside.
