Morden Hall Park is currently playing host to plants waiting to be re-homed from Hampton Court Flower Show. We will be scheduling times throughout National Park City Week (21st-29th July) for community groups and schools to pick-up plants for free.   Below is the link to apply to re-home plants. All are invited to the launch of a new service that is going to be available in the Mitcham area.  It is brought about through collaboration between a number of local churches and organisations in response to growing mental wellbeing issues in families. The final provision of the Charities (Protection and Social Investment) Act 2016 comes into effect on 1 August 2018.  This automatically disqualifies certain people from serving as charity trustees or in some senior positions in charities in England and Wales – regardless of whether the charity is registered with the Charity Commission. The Merton NHS Clinical Commissioning Group and Merton Council set out to test a model of Social Prescribing that would connect medical care with local voluntary and community resources.
