To celebrate Kingston Burrowes turning 10 we have decided to thank the local Kingston and Merton communities that have helped us grow by launching a new community fund. From July 2018 local community groups will be able to apply for a share of the fund, we are giving away up to £250 per project. 4 grants will be offered in total, two being awarded to projects in Merton and two in Kingston. The Merton Partnership is seeking voluntary sector organisations to run stalls at its Annual Conference taking place on 3 July 2018 at the Chaucer Centre in Lower Morden. The theme of the conference is ‘Increasing Social Capital’ and we would like to given voluntary sector organisations who generate social capital in Merton the opportunity to showcase what they do. We aim to provide good quality, new and second-hand, baby clothes and equipment (0 - 5 years) to anyone in need. It is completely free of charge, regardless of income, background or faith. If you or anyone in your family are in need of any baby items or you know of someone who does, then please contact us, and we will deliver it to your door, usually on a Thursday.

Health Innovation Network are training ‘Social Prescribing Champions’ to use a digital ‘social prescription service’ provided by HealthUnlocked to standardise the process of social prescribing and make it accessible to a wider number of people.
