It's lunchtime for Londoners This summer sees the return of the Big Lunch when thousands of Londoners will come together to eat, drink and be merry in a show of good old fashioned neighbourliness. The Centre for Independent Living held its inaugural meeting on 6th April, at which it was formed as a Company Limited by Guarantee. To celebrate, over 50 people attended a lively event at Morden Baptist Church. Attic Theatre are promoting their latest show aimed at older people’s groups, which focuses on encouraging healthy living. Ma Kelly Goes to the Games is part funded by Awards for All and is available at a rate of £400 per show. For more information, see the attachments.

This programme is a collaboration between London Catalyst, the Church Urban Fund and the Wakefield and Tetley Trust. Its aim is to encourage and develop social action projects involving faith groups and health partners that are seeking to tackle health inequalities and the effects of poverty. Grant of up to £10k are available to organisations with an annual income of less that £150k. The deadline is 31st May For more information see the application pack below.
