The Urban Food Awards highlights the enterprises, organisations and individuals involved in putting good food on the capital’s plate. Since 2014 the Mayor of London and London Food Link  have been inviting Londoners to get involved and shout about their good food heroes. Merton Libraries will be running sessions weekly, on Tuesdays from 3.00-4.00pm at West Barnes Library (next to Motspur Park Station), starting on Tuesday 17 February. In this first session they will start by sharing stories about where you live and talking about how your local area has changed since you have moved there. Attendees are welcome to bring in photos, articles or anything else that they would like to share!

We are pleased to be able to announce, that following the panel meeting on Friday 31st January 2020, 11 local organisations will share the £10,000 Winter Grant Fund pot. These organisations have been awarded grants, ranging in value from £500 - £1000, to address isolation and loneliness amongst targeted cohorts of Merton residents.
