Wimbledon Beekeepers’ Association is very keen for local people to take up beekeeping on their own private land, particularly in large gardens. Separately, the association is looking for land, such as unused parts of allotment sites, scraps between other developments, to use as apiaries, with perhaps 20 hives. Shared Intelligence has been commissioned to evaluate the National Programme for Third Sector Commissioning. The Programme is delivered by the Improvement and Development Agency on behalf of the Office of the Third Sector, and aims to improve the involvement of third sector organisations in all aspects of commissioning.
