Morden Library of Things is teaming up with Merton Council and Sustainable Merton next month to save waste from ending up in landfill.   The social enterprise gives Merton residents the opportunity to borrow useful household items like drills, carpet cleaners and gazebos from as little as £1 per day, before returning them for another neighbour to use. Like many small organisations, Black Learning Achievement and Mental Health UK CIC (BLAM Charity) did not have the necessary resources or equipment in place to adapt as quickly as it needed to when lockdown hit. One of our priorities at MVSC is to support volunteer-involving organisations in Merton.
