This national hate crime awareness week, Safer Merton and partners are asking local residents to tell them whether they have experienced hate crime, where they able to report it, and what help and support would help more people report hate crime. It was a triumphant evening for Merton last night, as our volunteers won four awards at the highly regarded Team London Awards.  The ceremony, hosted at City Hall and in the presence of the Deputy Mayor for Social Integration, Social mobility and Community Engagement, Matthew Ryder, is held annually to acknowledge and recognised the contribution of London’s volunteers.
