Last year, Community and Housing invited organisations to bid for funding to support attendance at lunch and social clubs in Merton over the winter period.  Due to the successful outcome of last year’s Winter Grants Programme, Merton Council has decided once again to offer small grants to lunch and social clubs for older people in Merton this winter 2019.   This grant is in recognition that during the winter months, people, particularly older people, find it harder to get out and socialise.... read more

Wimbledon Foodbank will have an open door for temporary volunteers to walk in and help on certain days over the Christmas holiday:   Monday 16th December Tuesday 17th December Thursday 19th December Monday 23rd December Tuesday 24th December.     The volunteer session is from 10.00am till 12 noon.  Please feel free to come along on any of these days.
