Group Fundraising Chair

Are you a money-maker extraordinaire? Can you help fund a future? Are you fizzing with fundraising ideas? Are you equally at home organising a cake sale as a sponsored Digital Detox?

Then we need your energy and initiative to help us. The 8th Wimbledon Scout Group now needs a voluntary Group Fundraising Chair to help support our activities and improve our facilities. Raising extra funds means we can provide a wider range of exciting opportunities to our young people.

With experience of organising fundraising appeals, you won’t be afraid to get stuck in with anything from a car wash to helping a sponsored triathlon go swimmingly!

No specific time commitment is required and the role is flexible enough to fit around you. We’ll provide full support and training, a sociable network, and you will help to recruit a small team or fund raisers on your committee, plus it all looks great on your CV.

Ability to work with and also lead and inspire others. Creativity and enthusiasm to want to help 6-10.5 year-olds learn to be better people through organised fun, educational, and adventurous activities. Good planning skills. Full training is provided so enthusiasm is the most important skill.
