Strategic Partner Programme - Consultation

Merton Council and partners have launched the formal consultation on the draft funding prospectus for the Strategic Partner Programme 2019-21.  The scope of the programme has expanded and the Council will be looking to fund voluntary sector organisations delivering services in the following areas: information and advice provision, infrastructure support for the voluntary sector, wellbeing services, carers support services, and Healthwatch.

FUNDING

MERTON GIVING FUND The Merton Giving Fund will fund not-for-profit, voluntary, community and faith organisations, based in or delivering services in Merton. We will not fund individuals, sole traders or organisations established to make a profit. It is a grants programme. This round of the Fund will support the delivery of projects that address one or more of the priorities outlined below. The fund will not support day-to-day organisational running costs.

Lawrence Atwell’s Charity

The grant making trust Lawrence Atwell’s Charity has launched a new Charities Programme, supporting NEET young people in London and Kent into employment.

Grants of up to £10,000 per-annum are available to charities running projects that support disadvantaged young people, to help them move into meaningful work. Awards for three years of funding are open to consideration.
