MCT provides affordable transport services, helping to achieve social change in our community. MCT is about freedom and fairness of opportunity. It provides an essential, responsive service for a wide range of people - often the most vulnerable in society. These are people who cannot use or do not have access to cars, taxis or bus services and who depend on MCT to get the services and the social activities they require.

Merton deanery (consisting of 18 benefices, 18 parishes and 25 Churches) has some of the richest and the poorest parishes within its boundaries. The deanery includes such diverse areas as Colliers Wood, Merton, Mitcham, Morden, Motspur Park, Pollards Hill, Raynes Park, South Wimbledon, West Wimbledon, Wimbledon and Wimbledon Park. The Anglican Deanery represents the Church of England parishes in the Borough of Merton. Each parish has its own Church to be a focus for worshipping God, and often organising social events and outreach in the community.

Merton Mencap works with children, young people, adults and parents and carers of those with Learning Disabilities. We run over 22 projects and services to help those in need in the borough working independently or with other organisations.

We need volunteers on an Thursday evening 18.30-21.15based in Colliers Wood. The project is called Grover's and Movers and will be volunteer led. The aim of the club is to be a social night for adults with an learning disability. One room will be a weekly disco whilst the other is arts & crafts or games. We have access to a sensory room and a snooker table.
