Creative space for partners to explore new ways of working that will empower the voluntary and community sector

MVSC are working to explore and create new collaborative opportunities for the voluntary and community sector in Merton with dedicated support to develop joint bids and proposals.

 

The starting point for this exciting piece of work is a series of workshops (innovation labs) bringing together a range of partners with the goal of: -

 

  • Maximising knowledge, skills and ideas
  • Identifying and exploring new ways of working
  • Stimulating collaboration
  • Generating new initiatives and projects
  • Providing a platform for bid generation levering investment into Merton

 

 

 

Innovation Lab 1 - Wednesday 20th November – Rehabilitation

Guest speaker: Fiona Jones, Professor of Rehabilitation Research and CEO of Bridges Self-Management Social enterprise (confirmed)

 

This event is for: -

  • Voluntary, community sector and social enterprise organisations who do or could play a role in supporting rehabilitation from a health condition, developmental difficulty or disability such as stroke, heart attack, surgery, physical injury.
  • Allied health professionals
  • Reablement and care managers
  • Public Health
  • GPs
  • Commissioners and senior management from the CCG and Merton Council

 

Places are limited with priority given voluntary and social enterprise organisations to ensure broad engagement. Representatives from Merton Council, CCG, Public Health are essential but we request are strategically nominated.
