Hustings: Local Elections 2018

MVSC is organising a hustings meeting for the May 2018 local elections.

We are pleased to announce that Councillor Stephen Alambritis, Leader of the Labour group and Councillor Oonagh Moulton, Leader of the Conservative group have accepted the invitation to attend. The Liberal Democrats, Green Party, UKIP and Merton Park Independents Residents Group have also been invited to be represented at the hustings.

The focus of the meeting will be on their commitments and manifesto pledges working with and supporting the voluntary and community sector in Merton, particularly the sector’s role in providing services for local residents.

The Hustings will be chaired by Reverend Gerry Stanton, Trustee of Commonside Community Trust and the Mayor of Merton’s Chaplain.

Please book your place for this public meeting for the voluntary and community, faith and social enterprise sector. Please submit questions or specific issues you would like to be raised on the day to
