Morden Hall Park is currently playing host to plants waiting to be re-homed from Hampton Court Flower Show. We will be scheduling times throughout National Park City Week (21st-29th July) for community groups and schools to pick-up plants for free.

Groundwork London, an environmental charity, are running an exciting food action campaign: Small Change Big Difference.
Did you know that Londoners create more than 900,000 tonnes of household food waste a year? That’s the equivalent to a LOT of football pitches!  The Small Change Big Difference campaign aims to help reduce this.
Small Change Big Difference aims to help Londoners make a positive difference to their health, pockets and the planet by getting savvier with their food.
Come along for inspiring children’s activities in the stunning surrounds of the historic Canons House.
Did you know growing and distilling lavender was one of Mitcham’s most important industries for hundreds of years? Join us at The Canons house and gardens on Saturday 21st July to pot your own lavender plant, bottle lavender oil and take home a dried lavender sachet.
There will also be a family-friendly photo-trail around The Canons to help you discover more about this lovely green space.
Free event, just turn up.
21 July at 11am to 12:30pm
All are invited to the launch of a new service that is going to be available in the Mitcham area.  It is brought about through collaboration between a number of local churches and organisations in response to growing mental wellbeing issues in families.
The aim of the service is to provide opportunity for individuals and families to access advice and support within their locality.
The launch of the new service will be at Rhema Church.  The service is called the 'Pastors Network for Family Care Service'.  The service will be available to church members and the community.
